Let’s end child hunger today

Reaching the world’s most vulnerable children

At World Vision, we believe that every child deserves a bright future. And over our 70 years of building relationships with communities to transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children, we have the global reach to achieve transformation at scale.

In the last 20 years, poverty has been retreating, but it is retreating to the harshest places in the world - places rife with violence, instability and exploitation, places very few organisations can reach.

World Vision can. But not on our own.

Your support allows us to scale our operation and our ambitions, and ensure no child is left behind. In joining us, you will create a powerful transformation in the lives of children now, and for generations to come.

Get in touch with our team by calling 01 498 0800 or by emailing ireland@worldvision.ie and we will create a partnership with you based on your individual interests and requirements.

Philanthropists are critical to our work. In 2019, of the 2 million children we helped through our projects, 33% were only possible because of the support we received.

Our work

We are relentless in our mission to support children

Give an impact gift to one of our projects. We have identified where the need is the greatest and where you can make the biggest difference. You can choose a project now or discuss the options in depth with one of our Programmes Officers to ensure you know where your money is going and how you are transforming lives.

The benefits of giving

Transforming the lives of children around the world not only brings benefits to them, but for you too. Hear from different individuals who have brought fullness of life to children, what motivated each and how it has impacted them.

Steve and Carolyne Walker

Steve says, "My wife, Carolyne and I have been supporters of World Vision and sponsors of children, for nearly forty years. World Vision truly do what they say and everything is done with the aim of making improvements self-sustaining. Their people, whether in Milton Keynes, or halfway around the World, in Cambodia, where our seven sponsored children live, are dedicated to improving the lives of our children, their families and their communities. We've been fortunate enough to visit our children in Cambodia and seen, first hand, the progress they've made."

Deborah Van Nes, Premier Contract Supplies

"We love what World Vision do. As committed Christians, the biblical basis of the charity is really important to us, as is the specific work that is carried out, supporting vulnerable children. We trust that our money is used well, and that what we’re giving really makes a difference. We feel excited about giving to World Vision, as it feels like we’re doing something that matters."

For us the main focus is the joy of being intimately linked to a project in another part of the world. It makes the world feel a little smaller and it makes us all feel part of a very special community. When we have a bad day it gives us a sense of perspective and a different type of motivation. We get ‘back’ emotionally so much more than the money we put in. I would really encourage others to think about giving in this way!

Why are we different?
